Damage and Repairs: It must be made clear that in the event of loss or damage, or the need for additional cleaning, you as the guest, agrees to reimburse all costs. All costs will be withdrawn from the security deposit taken at check-in, and any excess of the amount of $200 will be withdrawn from the Credit/Debit card used at check-in.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $200 is required at check-in. These funds are held by your banking network and only available to us in the event of loss or damage. These funds are reversed back to your card from our end on the same day you checkout, however depending on your banking institution this may take between 3-5 business days. These funds will NOT be shown as a line item in your statement, they will appear as an adjustment to the available balance.
Apartment Keys and Pool Towels: Each apartment is provided with 2 keys and 4 Beach Towels. Please note on checkout, both keys are to be left downstairs in our labelled Base Real Estate key box, adjacent from the lift exit doors. Any missing or lost keys will incur a charge of $50 per key. Beach towels are to be left in the room upon checkout. Lost or Damaged towels will incur a charge of $50 each.
Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation period is 7 days prior in NON-PEAK and 21 Days prior to booking in PEAK PERIOD. Our Peak Period is from 20 December to 28 January.
Smoke Alarm: Each Apartment is fitted with a smoke alarm which is wired directly to the local fire station. In the event the alarm is activated, the NSW Fire Brigade can charge a callout fee of $1,777.00 which is payable by the party who triggered the alarm. To prevent this occurring, if cooking, please ensure you pull out the exhaust fan above the hotplates and open your balcony doors prior to cooking.
Extra Guest Policy: Any additional children or adults who require a bed are charged $17.00 per night, per person. All bookings with third party booking agencies must comply with the number of guests specified. In the event extra guests arrive, additional charges will apply. Please notify us in advance of additional guests staying.
